Brighten up your morning with this protein-packed Greek yogurt bowl! Topped with fresh peaches, blueberries, granola and cacao nibs each bowl is loaded with deliciousness and contains 24 grams of protein.
This time last week I shared a blueberry peach oatmeal recipe. Itโs delicious and I highly recommend trying it, but if your weather is still hot and humid (like it is here in Richmond) I have another option for you. Itโs a Greek yogurt breakfast bowl โ similar to this one I shared last year, but with fresh blueberries, peaches, granola and cacao nibs.
I love starting my day with protein and Greek yogurt bowls make it incredibly easy to do so. <โ This bowl has a whooping 24 grams!
Iโve been having one for breakfast at least once or twice a week as of late. Iโve tried many different combos but keep coming back to this one with fresh blueberries and peaches because itโs absolutely delicious and perfect for summer.
Any ripe and juicy peach will work, but we have donut peaches in the house and they are truly ah-ma-zing. Theyโre juicy, super sweet and less fuzzy on the outside than regular peaches. It’s totally worth picking up a few if you see them at your local grocery store.
Hereโs what I used for my bowl yogurt bowl:
- Greek yogurt: 2% of full-fat Greek yogurt tastes so much better than fat-free and itโs more filling! I love the thick and creamy consistency of Greek yogurt. My favorite brands are Fage, Siggi’s and Stonyfield Organic.
- Fresh peach: we get fresh peaches from our farmers market every year. They’re juicy and seriously delicious.
- Blueberries: you can use fresh or frozen, but fresh is best
- Granola: I really like making my own granola (like this coconut granola or thisย grain free granola). That said, you can always use store-bought granola too. I love the Purely Elizabeth brand.
- Cacao nibs โ gotta have a little crunch (and chocolate)!
This combo is FAB but feel free to make it your own and use whatever toppings you have on hand. Typically I like to add some chia or ground flax as well as a little nut butter on top. The more toppings, the better!

I hope you like this easy breezy summer Greek yogurt bowl as much as I do! Have a lovely Thursday afternoon.
I need to get my hands on some of that muesli! I think i’ll grab some it next time I’m at WFM.
Yum! I’m right with you on the 2% yogurt. I haven’t had donut peaches this summer and I may need to get on that ๐
Who doesn’t love blueberries?! You have to be seriously weird not to love those little wonders! The bowl looks absolutely amazing. & just perfect for summer. I am all about overnight oats, yoghurt, and smoothies in the summer. Need something to cool me down. Thanks for sharing! ๐
This looks so delicious! Blueberry and peaches have to be one of my favorite combos, but as a nutritionist, are you ever concerned about the antioxidant-blocking effects of dairy? http://nutritionfacts.org/video/nutrient-blocking-effects-of-dairy/
How cute is that little yogurt bowl! I love peaches and bluebs together!
Yum, this looks and sounds so great and it combines all my favorite foods! I’ve actually never had donut peaches before, but I’ve seen them in my local grocery store, I’ll definitely have to try them! The sweeter the peach, the better!
