This viral cottage cheese wrap is made with simple ingredients, has a soft and pliable texture and is perfect as a high protein, low carb option to use as a wrap or flatbread.
Love high-protein cottage cheese recipes? Try my cottage cheese eggs and this cottage cheese quiche.
As I’m sure you’re aware, cottage cheese is the new cauliflower and we’re using it to make everything these days…. including low carb, high protein wraps! This recipe was trending on social media and as soon as I saw it, I knew it was something I needed to try.
I made the recipe my own by using liquid egg whites instead of and egg and added some seasonings based on what I prefer and it turned out soo good! I love that it’s made with simple ingredients (real food) and that the wrap alone offers 34 grams of protein. The best part is that the wrap actually holds together really well and it’s soft and pliable making it perfect for using as a wrap or flatbread.
I’ve made both flatbread sandwiches and wraps with this cottage cheese wrap! My favorite combo so far is the turkey club wrap I’m sharing below with turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. It’s delish!

could you experiment with something else for eggs/egg white. I wonder if flax eggs will work for this recipe. Seems like not. Let me know in case you do try, or I will ๐
Thank you sir the recipe
Hi Priya. I am not sure if flax eggs would work here, I am not sure the wrap would hold together. Let me know if you give it a try with the flax egg and how it turns out for you!
Delicious but be aware that the cottage cheese flatbread is actually TWO servings. I couldnโt figure out why my macros were so much higher than those listed. Oh well! I ate the whole sandwich and enjoyed every bite!
Hi Nic! Yes, this recipe is for 2 servings. I am SO glad you enjoyed this wrap though. Thank you for sharing your review + star rating, I really appreciate it!
Giving it 5 stars for flavour but had a hard time preventing it from breaking up when folding/eating. It looks like you used a 9×13 cake pan, not a sheet pan. Is this the size I should aim for? Thinking mine was maybe spread too thin?
Thank you for the 5 stars. I appreciate that, but I do wonder why it’s breaking on you! I’ve used both a 9×13 baking dish and a quarter sheet pan (which is also 9×13) and the thickness seemed perfect – not too thin. What size did you use?
Mine fell apart as soon as I lifted it off the pan. Any tips to avoid this?
Oh no!! I wonder if it spread too thin? Did it seem thin or watery? What cottage cheese did you use?
Mine did too! A friend of mine said to add two eggs and it worked better
Oh, that’s great to know. I’ll have to try it with eggs and see how it compares!
Hi. Looking forward to trying this. When you say โenjoy right awayโ does that mean it doesnโt last or store well?
I haven’t had a chance to test out storing it because I’ve always eaten it right away, but I do think you could wrap it well and it would keep for 1-2 days. You might want to reheat it a bit just to remove the chill before using it though. I do the same thing with the cauliflower thins from Trader Joe’s… always warm them up!
can you double this recipe and make on one sheet to have two servings?
Hi Cat! This recipe does make 2 servings. It makes 1 large wrap that you’ll cut in half for 2 individual servings. Each half has 17 grams of protein per serving. Hope you enjoy!
Omg, this sounds amazing! Just my luck I don’t gave egg whites on hand for once. I plan to make this after a store run. Does it happen to have an eggy taste?
I don’t think it has an eggy flavor, but I could see it tasting a bit eggy if you’re sensitive to that flavor profile.
Are these ok to make ahead, store in the fridge and eat later? Or does the texture not hold up well?
I think it would be okay for a day or two if you store it wrapped up. Let me know if you try it.
how many servings is the wrap and is the nutrional information for the whole sheet?
Hi! The wrap is for 2 servings (17g of protein per half). Hope you enjoy!
