This delicious maple glazed salmon cooks up in under 10 minutes for a quick and easy weeknight meal! Salmon filets are marinated in a flavorful sweet and savory sauce then baked until tender and flaky.
Whisk together maple syrup, tamari, lemon juice, garlic, ginger and ground pepper. Reserve 3 Tablespoons of marinade.
Marinate fish in sauce, flesh side down for 20-30 minutes and preheat oven to 400°F.
Place on baking sheet, skin side down and broil for 7 minutes or until the filets are heated through. Remove from oven and drizzle each filet with reserved marinade before serving.
Notes
To store: This salmon will keep fresh in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. I recommend reheating in the oven or toaster oven for the best results!
Lemon juice: Don't have fresh lemon on hand? Swap it with a vinegar like apple cider vinegar, white vinegar or rice vinegar.
Maple syrup: Even though this is a maple glazed salmon you can totally swap the maple with honey or agave. The salmon will just have a different flavor.
Don't have fresh garlic and ginger? Fresh garlic and ginger is best, but if you’re in a pinch, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder and ginger powder will work as a substitute.
