Oh no! So sorry this recipe didn’t turn out for you. Did you chill the dough before rolling into truffles? This helps to firm up the dough, making it easier for rolling.

Great way to have a sweet treat without the sugar. It’s unfortunate that the recipe is not accurate for ingredient amounts. I tried using one avocado as the recipe says. That was a terrible outcome. The chocolate was too runny and I was unable to roll them. I added two more avocados for a total of three with same 1 cup of chocolate chips. It was better but still not able to roll them into balls. I dropped them by tbsp into cocoa powder and tossed them in the powder til they were dry enough to roll into balls. Yielded 34 one inch balls from 3 avocado and I cup chocolate chips. I’d try this recipe again but use only 1/2 cup melted chocolate chips to see if the consistency is better.

Thanks for sharing, Phoenix. You can use any type of chocolate chips you prefer. Lily’s do contain erythritol so if that’s of concern, feel free to use another chocolate chip option. Hope you enjoy this recipe!

I was looking for a healthier treat and came across these on ZOE. I made them at first and was a bit unsure as they had not chilled yet, however, left them in the freezer overnight and they are SO GOOD. Really impressed.

These are delicious but a lot of chocolate to avocado ratio. That said they wouldn’t taste like truffles if you didn’t do this. They are amazing and I used up my avocado’s that have been ignored lately. Definitely a treat. Thanks for this recipe
